I am a life long resident of Brunswick where I live with my two children. When my kids were younger, I discovered yoga was the perfect thing I needed to help me de-stress and get in better shape. Over the next few years it became my passion. I spent the next several years going through training sessions and teaching locally. Eventually, I found the courage to start the studio and over time, quit the position I had held at my job for the past 15 years. I have been very lucky to have the support of my famliy and friends throughout the entire experience of opening and starting my own business.
I am a ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) with the Yoga Alliance and also certified with Power Pilates. I have trained with some amazing people and continue to studio yoga and pilates to bring the best instruction to Pulse customers.
Since Pulse began, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best instructors and am proud to introduce you to our staff (below). Not only are they talented at what they do but they are tremendous, genuine people and I am honored they have chosen Pulse as their home.

I live in Granger township with my three children, two dogs, and a wonderful husband who make my yoga practice possible (and sometimes necessary). I enjoy spending time with my family, studying yoga philosophy, reading, and teaching yoga classes. My goal is to bring yoga to everyone, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. I truly believe that if you can breathe, you can do yoga!
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. I studied with YogaFit, finding inspiration from master trainers Candice Taylor, Kristin Mabry, and Beth Marik. Currently, I am working towards my 500 hour certification at Yoga On High in Columbus under the guidance of Linda Oshins, Marcia Miller, and Martha Marcom. I love that they challenge me to find my own solutions rather than simply giving me the answers.
My favorite asana is Trikonasana. I love the feel of reaching through the pose, settling in, and feeling the energy as I open my arms wide. I feel connected to my three children in the 3 triangles that are created. Each is different and strong in itʼs own way, just like each of my kids.
I am grateful to my friend Tara whom I “blame” for inviting me to run with her. The running brought me to one of my first yoga classes and Iʼve stayed ever since! I am thankful to Jessica for encouraging me to become a yoga teacher and for giving me an opportunity to teach. I have been fortunate to study and practice with some amazing teachers such as Johnny Kest, David Swenson, Roger Cole, and Wade Imre Morissette.
My joy is in the journey. I will be a yoga student for life!

I have been practicing yoga for over 12 years. Being an extrememly active person, I noticed yoga not only added to my physical abilities and strength but quickly realized the spiritual and mind centering benefits of yoga and its benefits in all aspects of my life.
My practice is based in the heart centering Anusara inspired tradition but I enjoy melding other styles into classes. I love to share my practice with students in a light hearted fun way and encourage them to experience all aspects of yoga deeply. Yoga is a continuing journey of discovery for both teacher and student. Every class invites the student to be open to wherever their practice takes them.
I have practiced under many teachers in the Cleveland area and am registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. I credit my love for yoga to teachers and mentors Mary Pat Murphy and Rowan Silverberg. I have also studied under the instruction of Todd Norian.

I live in Medina with my son Justin, who I am extremely proud of. The only thing better than yoga is being a Mom! I love to be outdoors, travel and spend time with my family. I am also a certified project manager and have managed projects in various Cleveland hospitals for the last 20 years.
I became fascinated with yoga at the age of 8, but was never encouraged to pursue it. I eventually found my yoga passion again in 1999 and started practicing with various teachers. However, it was not until 2009, when my personal life took an unexpected turn, that I really emersed myself in teacher training to learn as much as possible about this yoga lifestyle. I studied under Marni Task, who concentrated on Jivamukti and Anusara yoga styles. She encouraged us to try new things, and I fell in love with chanting and eventually (with much frustration!) meditation. I am very happy with where I am now!
I love to encourage my students to look beyond the pose to find the meaning behind each one. Selecting a favorite asana would be like selecting a favorite tree in the woods. Each one is beautiful, has its own unique role in the world, and leads me to new places. I hope I am able to help all my students find the beauty in themselves, through yoga.
My personal mission is to encourage physical, spiritual and emotional awakenings in the people I meet and to do this with integrity, honesty and living by example.

I live in Brunswick with my husband and three children. I enjoy many kinds of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and running. I was certified in pilates with Power Pilates in June 2009 and am happy I was able to become an instructor at such a wonderful place. I have found over time that Pilates is wonderful for the body. It strengthens the core and aligns the body, while improving posture. I am currently pursuing my yoga teacher training certification.
I started yoga about ten years ago to help with a balance issue I was experiencing. Yoga has since been a big part of my life and has enhanced my overall health and well being. My favorite pose is the tree pose because it makes me feel focused, grounded and balanced.
The great thing about both pilates and yoga practice is they are enjoyable and challenging no matter what your age or fitness level might be.

With over 25 years in the fitness industry and a degree in Physical Therapy, I discovered Yoga, after I realized the need for an inner transformation. After taking one yoga class, I immediately knew that this was the path I should take and realized the power Yoga had in transforming my life. Yoga created the balance in my life that I could not find with any other venue. Yoga is a passion in my life and I truly love sharing that with others.
I received my 200 hour teacher training at Namaste Yoga Studio and have studied with Todd Norian and many local Cleveland instructors. I have gained inspiration from many shaman’s and spiritualists in Sedona, Arizona and enjoy sharing this knowledge with mystudents.
My love of sports and athletic ability allows me to teach a powerful class but keep a balance between softness and comfort in my exercises, allowing students to create their own personal experience.
I hope that every student can walk away from a class and discover one new thing about themselves that they are thankful for.
